About this Item
Ease your child into Spanish with our beginning Year 1B course! Children learn basic everyday vocabulary themes such as greetings, the classroom, colors, body parts, weather, days/months, clothing, foods and more. We make it fun to learn by using interactive puppetry, thematic catchy songs, sentence building with gestures, and many games and activities using colorful visual aids. This course is perfect for 2nd – 5th graders. If your 1st grader took Year 1A already, she may enroll in Year 1B to solidify the vocabulary and be ready for Year 2 as a 2nd grader.
We have been successful in getting schools to adopt our program with our fun approach incorporating singing, puppetry, and games. And we are proud to be the number one provider of Spanish language enrichment in San Diego County. Our Director, Andres Abeyta, brings the newest advances in Ed-Tech to manage our program. This includes individual practice lessons online to extend our reach to more families with busy schedules. We welcome you to join our community that’s getting kids excited about learning Spanish.
Music, a songbook, and workbook keep Spanish learning fun throughout the week and reinforce vocabulary at home. Classes meet throughout the school year with a maximum of just 13 children per class.
